“My Letter To You” is a ballad about a response to an unexpected, hurtful letter sent by Jenny JAM’s late Father, before he passed away from lung cancer in Florida, 2014. She wrote to him from where she was living in London but he died before he was able to properly read it and Jenny never heard back. During lockdown, Jenny decided to make it into a song and film the music video across the US from Los Angeles (where she now lives) to her Dad’s street in Florida, to portray the journey of her letter sent across many miles. The lyrics depict the hurtful, unexpected words written to Jenny and her strength to overcome the pain.
